Our rescue operations:
Beginning in July 2024 with the rescue of "Ranpu”（so called Ran chan)—have enabled us to take in 28 sick or injured rabbits and ensure they received necessary medical care over the past two years. Including births that occurred while the rabbits were in our care, we have strived to save a total of 34 lives.

RESCUED RABBIITS FROM OHKUNOSHIMA
Ranpu-chan, rescued in July 2024.
The photo on the left on Okunoshima Island, shows her bearing a massive growth—likely a tumor or an abscess—on her ear. The photo on the right was taken in March 2025.
Thanks to the generous donations and kindness of many people, she underwent surgery and treatment at a veterinary clinic specializing in rabbits. Although she made full recovery and lived happily for one year, she suffered from torsion of liver lobe and passed away in July 2025.
Fuuka, rescued at 3 months old in September 2024, suffering Pasteurella infection and hearing aggected.

Tumor on her abdodmen, cancer on her back.
Successful removal of tumor on abdomen, but she passed away in October, 2024 ahead of cancer removal sugery.
Pururu, rescued in September 2024.
Periapical abscess, lung abscess, jaw bone dissolved.
Due to severe illness, she passed away in October 2024.

Clara (Oreo), rescued in September, 2025.
Nasal and middle ear osteolysis, high probability of hearing loss, missing molars, severe Pasteurellosis.
Clara (Oreo) who wass severely debilitated, died three days later.

Fracture on right front leg.
Died suddenly due to chronic hepatitis and pulmonary edema.

Fracture of the right front leg, trauma to the face and throat; possible sign of deliberate abuse.

Severe upper respiratory tract infection. Destruction of nasal structures. Severe inflammation in the left inner and middle ear.

Lala, rescued in September 2025.
Fracture of the right front leg. Severe pneumonia, severe ppasteurellosis. Inflammation of the external and middle ear. Laceration of the left ear caused by sharp object. Possible abuse.

Abscess under the chin.
After giving birth to 6 babies 4 weeks after being rescued, Haruka is happy at foster home today.
Mahiro, rescued in November, 2025.
Due to traumatic purulent periarthritis in the right hind leg, the affected area was extensively debrided and the leg was amputated.

Noa, rescued in November, 2025.
Trampled due to a tourist's negligence, suffering fractures in four places, including her femur and pelvis. She developed internal bleeding and passed away four days after her rescue.
Kiki, rescued in November, 2025.
Fractures of the neck, skull, and jawbone. Shattered ear bones. Possible abuse.
Kiki is continuing his dental treatment for malocclusion which is after effect.
Kirara, rescued in December, 2025.
The dislocation of the ankel and toes were untreatable. On the dorsum of the foot, the skin has become exposed due to infection.
In January 2026, the leg amputation surgery was successful, but he died the following day after a sudden deterioration in their condition.

Abscess on the right leg; abscess under the jaw.

Kiko, rescued in February, 2026.
Pasteurella infection
Kiko finished her treatment for Pasteurellosis. She will have spay surgery and looking for foster home afterwards.
Saki, rescued in February, 2026.
Eleven abscesses including a massive abscess on the back.
Saki lost his life in March 2026 despite dedicated treatment.
Koyomi -- rescued in April 2026.

Kinomi, merely 300g baby rabbit suffering GI stasis passed away despite vigorous effort to save him.
Kinatsu, rescued in June, 2026.
She developed myiasis resulting from trauma to the face and ears; the infestation caused extensive tissue erosion extending beneath the facial and laryngeal muscles, leading to death the day after admission to the hospital.
